Harry is coming!
Movie 6 - Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is going to be the best of the Harry Potter (HP) films by far. The latest dates for the premiere are 15th July 2009 in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. 2 days later it will hit the movies in the Uk on 17th July.
The Plot
A quick run down for all those muggles out there who haven't read the book (there maybe one or two people on the planet!)
He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named (Voldermort) is growing stronger in the wizard world and also the non-suspecting muggle world. As usual Harry suspects the dangers that are arising, but the young wizard, along with Ron and Hermione are being distracted by the good old teenage hormones. Harry is falling for Ginny, Lavender Brown wants Ron, which leaves Hermione showing her green streak of jealousy. Meanwhile Dumbledore is seeing the bigger picture and is intent on finding a way to unlock the voldermort defenses. Hogwarts is never going to be same after this, the sixth installment - Harry Potter and the half Blood Prince. Oh, yes, if you want to know, Snape is the Half Blood Prince but I wont give too much more away!
The Cast
I thought I would go through a few of the characters in the film. Here is a brief list (again for those muggles who no nothing about HP!). No I'm not going to list every character, it would take forever.
Harry Potter - Who is the hero, and is faced with the task as the only wizard able to defeat the evil lord Voldemort, who has been trying to murder Harry from the time he was a baby.
Hermione Granger - Best friend of Harry, Hermione is the clever and rational side to the famous trio of Harry, Ron and Hermione.
Ron Weasley - Is the loyal friend to Harry. Gets into so much trouble with Harry but will always be there at the end of the day.
Albus Dumbledore - The headmaster at Hogwarts, Dumbledore is the father figure to Harry. The only wizard who truly know the most about Lord Voldemort - Dumbledore was one of his teacher at Hogwarts.
Professor Serverus Snape - Is he the Half Blood Prince?
Horace Slughorn - One of Dumbledore old friends who comes back to help in the hunt for Lord Voldermort. A key character in this installment of HP.
Draco Malfoy - Harry rival at Hogwarts and the ultimate bully. Has no time for muggles at all and seems to be linked to Lord Voldemort in some way....
Lord Voldemort - The villan in all the installments of HP, and is intent on destroying Harry at all costs. Will he do it this time?

Harry Potter the Half Blood Prince was the worst movie in the trilogy of the movies thus far, after seeing the movie today. What kind of crack was the producer and screen writer was smoking? If these producers continue to make these kind of films then they need to atleast read the books and stick to the storyline instead of making stuff up that never took place.In the beginning of the film we see Harry sitting in a diner at the subway where he meets Dumbledore before disapperating to meet Slughorn. Where did this idiotic idea come from? Dumbledore meet Harry at the Dursley's to give him Sirius's will. Not to mention I was looking forward to seeing the Dursleys interaction with Dumbledore. Then the scene of Harry at the Weasley's at Christmas in a battle with Bellatrix Lestrange and Fenrir with Ginny, Lupin and Mr Weasley in the wheat field what looked like in the spring time in a ring of fire, which the Burrow was destroyed in the battle that never happened. Where the hell that come from people? It was set in winter in the snow and the new Minister if Magic came to the Weasley's to talk to Harry. And after the battle with Draco in the bathroom Harry hide the Blood Prince's book in the room of magic not Ginny. But yet the most disappointment of the movie of all was the battle towards the end of the movie.Two chapters was dedicated to the battle within the castle between the Death Eaters, the Order and Dumbledore's Army yet nothing was shown of such battle. They showed nothing of a struggle in the castle except one member of the Ministry guards being attacked as the Death Eaters walked out without a struggle. Oh Come On! Its what everyone has been waiting to see since the book was released. Not even Dumbledore's funeral was shown in the movie. If they weren't going to show the battle within the castle then they should have atleast show the funeral since that is the most important part in the book when Harry decided to take on where Dumbledore left off. Let's get it together producers. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone. The more I sat there watching the movie, I became more disappointed and dicouraged by the film. And if they make the Deathly Hallow's as bad as they did The Half Blood Prince I will not wish to see the last movie. Get it together film makers or lose out in the future as the one who produced the worst sequal. I give this movie a One and half star!
